When we opened our Midtown East café at the beginning of 2017, our top priority was offering a welcoming, comfortable place for communal gathering. A sense of home is at the foundation of all Irving Farm cafés: we want to be part of a neighborhood as contributors, not just a retail space.

Our newest café also boasts a brand new, inventive menu helmed by Executive Chef Danielle Dillon, former sous chef of La Vara. Aside from Chef Dani's commitment to cooking with quality, seasonal ingredients, her dishes are characterized by her careful layering of surprising flavors. In short, it’s modern comfort food at its finest.

At 50th and Lex, we’ve introduced elements that pay homage to the neighborhood. Our floor is black concrete with brass inlays, which mirrors a portion of the sidewalk down the block and the elegant and timeless form of nearby landmarks, such as the Chrysler Building and Waldorf Astoria. The blackened steel door and menu-board framing with burnished brass details represents the raw growth and construction that is always happening in NY. The simplicity of these textures and colors blends the history and style of the neighborhood with our personality as a coffee roaster.
