Gotham is our dark roast. We use high altitude coffees like Monserrate and Capucas to create a dark roast that has a ton of sweetness and complexity. High altitude coffees generally have more acidity. When you roast a coffee dark, you destroy a lot of the acids in the coffee. Using high altitude coffees means that the complex flavors of the coffees that we buy shine through even in a darker roast.

    best coffee ever

    Found this coffee at a little bakery in Woodstock, NY. We grind our own beans and we were out at home, so I grabbed a bag and thought we'll give this one a shot. And OMG am I glad we did. This is by far the smoothest and most balanced coffee I've ever had. Since I take my coffee black I need it to stand on it's own without having to change the flavor profile with cream or sweetener. We love it so much that I decided to sign up for the subscription. After the first couple of deliveries, I decided it was necessary to up the frequency. Highly recommend this product.

    The best coffee & subscription ever!

    A friend brought me a bag of the Gotham roast coffee — and I’ve never looked back. As the bag began to feel empty I started a subscription. I think I created two subscriptions by mistake and I emailed Irving Farm. The response was quick and they quickly rectified my order that was MY mistake! Thank you Irving Farm Coffee!!
