Gotham dark roast offers complex flavors from high-altitude beans. Sweet and bold, this is the best coffee New York has for dark roast enthusiasts. We use high altitude coffees from Colombia and Honduras to create a dark roast that has a ton of sweetness, complexity and more acidity. When you roast a coffee dark, you destroy a lot of the acids in the coffee. Using high altitude coffees means that the complex flavors of the coffees that we buy shine through even in a darker roast.
