Minas Gerais, Brazil

This single origin coffee is produced by the SanCoffee cooperative in the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais. The group is focused on sustainable coffee production, and achieved B corps certification in 2019. Its smooth, classic, mellow flavors are the result of a natural drying process, with the classic chocolate and nut tasting notes that are sought for in Brazilian coffees.

This coffee comes from a cooperative of coffee farmers called Sancoffee. They are a B corp and are focused on environmental and social sustainability. The coffee that Sancoffee exports is all carbon neutral, made possible by reforestation projects. We just started using this coffee in 2023. The coffee is sweet, smooth, chocolatey, and nutty. This coffee is a key component of Blackstrap and 71. It helps balance out the other coffees to make a sweet and balanced cup that’s easy to make
