Located 100 miles north of New York City amid the rolling hills of Dutchess County, our newly opened roastery is the point of connection between a coffee plant growing on a mountainside in Central America and a shot of Blackstrap espresso in an urban cafe. For over 15 years we roasted out of a converted carriage house on a former dairy farm, so it’s been a longtime dream to update and expand our operation.

In 2016 we’ll be opening the roastery to the public with tours, tastings, events and more. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, or sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date! In the meantime, visit our lovely cafe in the village of Millerton, just a mile down the road.

Some fun facts about the Irving Farm Roastery:
– Our new Loring Roaster burns 85% less fuel than other roasters.
– We also have two American-built Diedrich Roasters.
– The building employs radiant heat which is significantly more efficient than traditional heating.
– We compost chaff and other organic materials that are roasting byproducts.
